Notes:
Car continues to get better and faster, 3rd quickest car in the field, spun in turn 2 while chasing for 2nd place, stayed rolling and ended up 6th.  Dan S put the car together from our last race wreck by himself and it was fast out of the trailer.  We had a fuel pump issue and never had any practice laps, the car was fun to drive.

Notes:
We had a fuel pump issue again and never had any practice laps or a B Main, so we started 28th in the Feature made it up to 18th got spun and sent to the back.  Regrouped and passed 21 cars in 15 laps to finish 7th. For those of you counting that was 30 cars passed in a 25 lap race....Fun!

B Main / 12 cars

Notes:
First race all season we had no gremlins and it showed on the track.  We had a fast car from the time it rolled off the trailer, came from the back of the B main to challenge for the win.  Battled in the feature for the win only to be beat out by a very fast Chris Eggleston, it is good to be back up front where we belong.

Notes: Gremlins were back missed all of practice due to fuel issues. Started b main in 3rd moved to first on first lap broke lower control arm in turn 2 sending me for a high speed ride without brakes through infield, shearing off drive shaft, LR shock. Started feature dead last passing 18 cars to 6th.

SEPTEMBER 17

Feature 4th Overall / 1st Master 21 cars
B Main  2nd Place / 1st Master 11 cars

Notes: No mechanical issues all night, (strange for this season) instead we were thrown a curve ball by tech officals indicating our right rear tire was no longer legal and had to be pulled off for the feature race leaving us with not much option other than to put on a slower not broke in tire which cost us to be tight in the feature.  Still managed a top five finish, good job Dan's.

OCTOBER 01

6:00 P.M.

Feature 3rd Overall / 1st Master 24 cars
B Main  2nd Place / 1st Master 12 cars

Notes: Good racing night, car was very good, second fastest car on the track.  We should be a contender at Las Vegas nationals at the end of this month.  Once again we keep bettering our times and performances as we adjust to the new Federal tires.  Stay tuned

Quick Time: 18.837

OCTOBER 22

3:00 P.M.

COLORADO NATIONAL
SPEEDWAY

Feature 5th Overall / 1st Master 21 cars
B Main  2nd Place / 1st Master 11 cars

Notes: Dan and Dan provided me with an awesome ride tonight, we went to an older sealed motor to test for Vegas and it proved to be a quick motor also.  We were only a 1/10 second off the leaders but a tenth is a tenth and I think the car had it in it but this old man didn't  We should be a contender at Las Vegas nationals this coming weekend, stay tuned...

Las Vegas Nationals
October 27 - 29th

Las Vegas Motor Speedway
"The Bull Ring"

Qualified 5th Overall in the field of 35 cars
Heat Race 2nd Place

Notes: Dan and Dan provided me with an awesome car for Nationals! We went out and put a good qualifying time down of 17:14 which was good for 5th overall.  We started the Heat race in 8th and quickly moved into the lead, I missed my mark on the second to last lap and slipped to 2nd where we finished.  Starting the Feature event in 3rd assured us the best starting position of any Colorado driver in Legend racing history, wow. 34 laps into the race we settled into a 10 car length lead over fifth place when a late caution bunched us all back together.  On the restart I was punted by a slower car which spun me cracking my rear housing and eliminating us from the finish of the race.  It was a great national for us and a good end to a season and most likely a career, cheers and thanks..

Note:  Here is a great link to the race, we are the Black #8 starting in the 3rd position, you will need to copy and paste to your browser.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMjOtoV8wKI
